Chinese Bitcoin Mining Firm Relocates to Kazakhstan

Chinese Bitcoin mining firm BIT Mining has announced that it has moved its first batch of a total of 320 mining machines to another country: Kazakhstan. In a recent announcement, the mining company revealed that it expects its mining operations to be running again by June 27. The aim for a theoretical maximum hash rate capacity of 18.2 PH/s.

The second and third batch of 2,600 machines is expected to be moved to Kazakhstan by July 1. After that, the rest is being delivered over the coming quarters.

BIT Mining’s relocation plans come as a response to the recent crackdown of China on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
